Our "Useful" Government ( Editor - Mike Robbins !)

Website Editor " Mike Robins!  !

Disclaimer: Everything I write is based on my own speculation. These ideas of mine may or may not be good. But at least I can admit it, unlike most bloggers, vloggers, and news organizations.

Ok, so with the recent laws and debates conducted by our so out of touch "fearless leaders," It's reminded me exactly how useless our government is. And how obsolete our branches of government are. Don't get me wrong, a long long time ago, we lived in a world where our elected and appointed made some of the best decisions ever to create a good country...now they are irrelevant.
As little as 20 years ago, you could make the claim that the ability to spread information to the people was so limited that an informed governing body was needed to pass laws for those who didn't know any better.Today with the entirety of all information ever at our fingertips, more passion is posted on Facebook for these issues than in our entire elected and appointed government. For this I propose a total reformation of our government most importantly to remove the ability for them to actual pass, or strike down laws. Now I say this because our government is so out of touch with reality, high up in their towers, unaware of the true struggles of the people, instead passing laws which give themselves raises, sets exceptions to allow lobbyists to pay for a cushy lifestyle and other things to rub our faces in the fact that they are so corrupt and we cannot do a damn thing about it.
So imagine if you will a real government, by the people, for the people. Every decision voted on by the people, with the governments role to make available the information to the people to convince the people why their opinion is correct. But the votes come down to the people themselves. If someone is passionate for or against something, they will vote and they will convince other citizens to vote.
Think of it this way, if we want banks to be held accountable, WE will pass legislation. Hey lobbyists! Want your tax breaks and loopholes? Lobby to us. Congress, want to go to war? Well you'll need to convince us that it's a good idea to get involved in other country's affairs and risk provocation of radicals to attack us even further. Want to control legislation on women's bodies, let the people vote on it. I have a feeling that the number of people who want to impose restrictions is in the minority. Let the people vote on Obamacare once and for all instead of trying to repeal it around 40 times! Why allow gay marriage? If the majority of the people want it allowed, let us vote on it and kill DOMA.
If the votes failed and the things we wanted did not get passed, we could only blame ourselves. If we fail as a country, it will be because we failed, not because the system failed us.
